Rachel started with us in 2021 as an Analyst and completed her first solo deal after just 6 weeks.

Why did you join Oliver Parks?

I wanted a closer knit culture, where the environment is collaborative and supportive, and Oliver Parks offered this.

What do you enjoy most about working at Oliver Parks?

Knowing we are valued as an employee and we are trusted by senior management without having to be micromanaged, you can get on and flourish here. I really enjoy the WFH flexibility also, it is nice to see employers recognising how this can help and make lives easier!

What has your biggest success been?

Securing my first client and also solo deal within my first 6 weeks here really felt like an achievement and I am glad I was able to prove myself after being brought on as an Associate.

How would you describe the culture at Oliver Parks?

Everyone is super chilled and relaxed, we are always working hard alongside one another to help everyone be successful.

How has your career progressed?

I have been able to do 360 recruitment here, working with my own clients now as well as candidates, it has given me freedom to work with some of the new graduates in the business on positions which I really enjoy. I like the thought of being able to split one of my client positions with them and potentially helping them to make their first deal.

It is one of non-rogue recruiting firms, which is what makes it so special. Often the thought is that all recruitment firms are the same, having that very old fashioned military style culture, but this is the total opposite, and really puts the good back into recruitment!!
